I have read all but 3 of these books, and really enjoyed the ones I have read. The 3 I haven't read are by authors I'm not overly familiar with their work. Now that I've seen the book covers, I'll likely get them eventually. So a great list .

1. The Matt Helm books by the late Donald Hamilton. There is not one politically correct word in them.

2. The Cozy Detective books by S.J. Pajonas. Set in Japan, a place I know and love, with a protagonist who brings back memories.

3. Eric Van Lustbader's The Ninja and The Miko. Thrills, set mostly in Japan.

4. Phillip Atlee's Joe Gall series. Formulaic, not remotely credible, and long out of print, but good, non-PC stories.

5. Last of the Breed, by Louis Lamour.

6. Jake Needham's Jack Shepherd books. Thanks to Kindle, now available in the US.

Matt Helm and Joe Gall - a welcome trip down Memory Lane for me! I purchased every book in both series, the moment they appeared on the bookshelves. ($.50 - $.75 each).
The two Matt Helm movies with Dean Martin in the lead, set a new standard for the term awful movie.

Stieglitz Larsson what a brilliant author he was. Read all his books, riveting until the end. Original movies weren’t bad either. A few new authors to check out here thanks a million. 🍀

I have read them all except 5. So I would say that I agree pretty well with your list! I have written the others down and will be finding them soon!
