I'm a fan of all those authors, apart from Stephen King, who, I thought, wrote only horror and supernatural fiction, therefore not for me.

Hi there! I’m in agreement with you about Stephen King, except I would strongly recommend that you read November 22, 1963, which might be one of my all time favorite books! Check it out! You won’t be disappointed!

You must have seen my favorite authors list, love all these guys. You left out Tess Gerritson, Patricia Cornwell, Sue Grafton, and definitely Iris Johansen!!

If you speak to James Patterson and/or David Baldacci PLEASE tell them I really want to be an advanced reader for them!!!

I love all the authors expect Stephen King. There is something about his books in the beginning are good but fall apart for me by the end, I have tried a few with the same results. I wish I could be able to read all the books by the above authors but it hard to get to the library so I only get to read them if they are on sell thru Kindle.

Ericka, contact your local library, almost all of them now belong to the national virtual library (elibrary). They can give your log in info. Works just like a brick n mortar library with checkout, due back dates, renewable, wait lists and even late fees, lol.

You've listed many great authors, but I also love Agatha Christie, P. D. James, Sue Grafton, Arthur Conan Doyle, and Anne Perry

Robert Crais is as good or better than anyone on your list. (PS. Stephen King does not belong on your list.)

I definitely love all on your list except King, and Danielle Steele was one of my favorites too. There are so many others to name. Mysteries have always been my favorite. Leaving the chaos and going on an adventure to another world.

I have read ALL the Baldacci, all the Harry Bosch, all the Lee Child, ( even have most first edition published in England months before the US), all the Patterson ( before he wrote with a RAPIST). I have read most of all these books PLUS all the Patricia Cornwall. And so many more.
Just for you: read Peter HOEG: SMILA'S SENSE OF SNOW.
